Over the last two decades, Abbott’s Information
Technology Professional Development Program (ITPDP) has successfully
developed many of Abbott’s current IT leaders. The professional
development program is a two-year, entry-level program designed
to prepare high-potential individuals to
assume key positions in information systems and computer technology.
The program provides the mentoring, networking, visibility, and classroom training necessary to accelerate your career. As Abbott continues to strengthen its global presence, experience outside of its headquarters in Lake County, IL, is an essential factor to understanding the business. In addition to the many opportunities offered in Lake County, IT Professional Development Program members may have the opportunity to participate in off-site rotations and business travel, allowing them to gain broader experience at some of Abbott’s 100+ locations worldwide.
